What's next? Reimagining Hearthcraft
Merry meet friends! My posts have been heavy lately... and I am so grateful to be able to write about those deep topics from the other side of it all. But I think I'm finally ready to get into the meat of why I started this blog in the first place.
I've mentioned before on my About page that my Wiccan path is eclectic, and that I practice something I call "hearthcraft."
What is Hearthcraft?
Hearthcraft is a lot like homemaking, but with a magickal twist. It's all about making your home a safe haven, with the idea that the home is sacred space.
It may sound familiar: Ritual cleansing, feng shui, mindful decorating. Even clutter has a purpose. Safety and happiness come first. When you arrive at your home, you should feel wrapped up and welcome in its energy, without feeling trapped or homebound.
Hearthcraft is great for Kitchen Witches, Hedgewitches, Cottage Crones and just about everyone.

The Hearthcraft Grimoire
Like many of us, I've been working on my own Grimoire (can be known as a Book of Shadows for some) for over a decade now. I started gathering useful materials and knowledge more than 20 years ago, but I didn't start putting it down in my own hand until I was completely comfortable and confident in my spiritual path.
There's something otherworldly about writing in your own Grimoire. You are putting intention down in ink, you are committing to your practice, and putting a piece of yourself into your spiritual practice (a reason why sigils are so powerful!)
Looking to grow your own Grimoire? I'm selling 4 printable pages for only $1

I've found that I also enjoy printing and pasting useful information into my own Grimoire. The action is cathartic, and feels scrapbooky, crafty even (witch crafty!)
The internet has made it even easier for witches to practice their craft safely and comfortably. And it's made it easier for us to share with each other. When I find a printable I like, I purchase it and add it right in.
In addition to my personal Grimoire, I've also been working on Hearthcraft: Basics for the witch at home. Yes, an actual book! How crazy is that?
To help commit myself to this process, I'm going to be releasing and selling a line of printable Grimoire pages that can easily fit into your own personal Book of Shadows. Each download won't cost much, but the hope is that it helps pay for this website and eventually fund the publishing process for Hearthcraft: Basics for the witch at home.
Think Practical Magic meets Martha Stewart or Joanna Gaines, with a dash of sabor.
I've been through a lot the last few months, and that experience has taught me to not wait. I'm a witch, and I'm proud. I'm a Wiccan, and even prouder. I'm also a writer and an artist, so why not put all that together to create something beautiful that I can share with the community.
The final book will include plenty of Grimoire pages to get you started. And I'm going to be offering those pages for sale as digital downloads for the next few months, so you have a head start.
Here's the first installment!

— Blessed be, Ashley.
